Typography design

MuleSoft’s marketing department asked me to design a book cover for their upcoming book that would explore and highlight the new business term – ‘The Composable Enterprise’ - an idea that all modern businesses / enterprises need to be made up of many different parts and components, all well working individually, yet working spectacularly when all together.

For this book cover design I explored the idea of creating a custom made typeface, which would visually show that the typeface is made up of many different parts, yet all parts are reusable from letter to letter.

As the book’s target audience was decision makers working in the tech space, I designed each letter to have a tech feel to it. I incorporated both hardware and software elements in the design of each letter and made the book blue to fit in with MuleSoft brand style and main colour.
